What to expect

PAPER MAKING WORKSHOP

Get your hands into the making of Oorjaa’s banana fibre paper — from raw agricultural waste to textured sheets. This workshop invites you to work with our artisans through forming, and bringing each sheet to life.

Light making workshop

Work with everyday materials and shape them into forms that hold light. In this hands-on session, you’ll explore how layering, structure, and care come together to build a light — simple, grounded, and lasting.

Curious crow panels

A series of conversations led by designers, thinkers, and change-makers, the Curious Crow panels dive into ideas that sit at the intersection of craft, ecology, and design. Each session invites questions, stories, and reflections on how we make, what we value, and where we go from here.

Songs of nature

This year, Shades of Green unfolds under the theme Songs of Nature — an invitation to slow down and listen: to forests, fungi, oceans, and the quiet systems that shape our world. It’s a theme that threads through every part of the event — from the materials we work with to the conversations we host. Songs of Nature asks us to tune into the intelligence of natural systems, and reimagine how we design, build, and live in closer rhythm with the planet.
