Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary in Karnataka, home to Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, Indian Gaurs, sloth bears, and leopards, is one of India's premier tiger reserves but faces a threat from Lantana Camara. Inspired by Kabini's biodiversity, Oorjaa crafted the Kabini Partition using Lantana, demonstrating their dedication to creating meaningful art from renewable materials.

The ‘Fantastic Fungi’ floor lamp captures the complex arrangement of gills and the subtle variations in texture, crafted using paper from banana plant fibre and Lantana Camara. Focusing on the intricate details, we bring to life the delicate beauty of mushrooms, celebrating nature’s artistry that thrives in the hidden corners of the forest.

Inspired by the distinctive seed pods of the Illawarra Flame tree, the product captures the essence of these fascinating seed pods, translating their complex, layered shapes into a stunning design. Using lantana, crushed paper from banana plant fibre and sponge gourd, our design captures the essence of the seed pod.

Our bead lights, extending gracefully from the floor to the ceiling, are inspired by the unique shape of goldenrod gall seed pods. Reflecting the intricate forms of these seeds, crafted entirely from crushed paper made from banana plant fibre, the design creates a luminous connection to the natural world.

Our design draws inspiration from the graceful peace lily, capturing the gentle curve and elegant form of its leaves and petals. The product mirrors the natural arch and fluid silhouette of the peace lily, embodying its serene presence.
